Directions to RVUUC

RVUUC meets on Sundays in the Pearl Warren Building, 606 12th Ave S (where 12th intersects S Weller St, a couple blocks south of Jackson and just north of the Jose Rizal Bridge). The building is accessible, with a level entrance from the street and an elevator from the below-ground parking garage.

Traveling by Bus

Take Metro route #36 or #60 and get off right in front of the Pearl Warren Building at the intersection of 12th Ave S and S Weller. Or you can take the #1, 7, 9, or 14 and walk a couple of blocks from 12th Ave S and S Jackson

Traveling by Bicycle

RVUUC is easily reached from the bicycle path that starts at the south end of the Jose Rizal bridge, which in turn connects with the I-90 bike path and Lake Washington Boulevard. You can lock your bike in a secure, covered spot beneath the building.

Traveling by Car

• From the former Rainier UU Center (835 Yesler Way), head east on Yesler for 0.2 miles, turn right/south on Boren, and then take a slight right onto 12th Ave S for 0.3 miles.
• From Rainier Ave, turn west on S Weller (between Dearborn and Jackson) and drive a couple of blocks to 12th Ave S. The underground parking is on the left just before you reach 12th.
• From I-5, use the Dearborn Street exit and travel east on Dearborn until you can turn right onto 8th. Turn right onto S King St, and then turn right onto 12th Ave S. The Pearl Warren Building is on the southeast corner of 12th Ave S and S Weller.

Parking

There is ample parking under the building (entrance on S Weller). Park in any space and go to the open door under the building, then use the door on the left to get to the elevator. Press "Star 1" to get to our space on the first floor.

For handicapped parking, park in designated spaces beneath the building and take the elevator to the first floor ("Star 1" button).

Accessibility

The Pearl Warren Building is completely accessible by wheelchair.
